Amanda - Woolworths Australia Anxiety Awareness Campaign
Sometimes, my job isn't just about hair & makeup, nor should it ever be, as what is more important than how we look is how well we listen to others.
I was honoured to have met Amanda today; a Lady whose story touched my heart as she is 1 in 3 people that suffer from severe anxiety every day yet is brave enough to show the world that vulnerability is the key to connecting and helping others with the same issues she faces daily.
In her interview for Woolworths, she courageously voices that there is a huge need in the corporate work place for affected individuals to be able to meet face to face with someone (when they feel the need) just to be heard so they do not feel alone and scared.
Shihani
Shihani has facial scarring which she had sadly endured after a car accident when she was 14. She explained that her mental scarring from bullying of others was much more intolerable than the physical scars and explained that nobody would do her makeup in fear of not being able to cover her scars without it looking obvious.
Well this is her on her wedding morning looking stunning and her scars are barely visible with a 'second skin' seemless finish using my special product that she now uses and will give her that added confidence without altering the texture of her naturally beautiful complexion.
